The hedge is trimmed to size and shape, clippings are swept up and removed on request. Expect € 3 to € 7 per running metre depending on height and width; a 10-metre chest-high hedge comes to € 30 to € 70.
Most hedges need two rounds a year: a shaping trim in late spring and a second visit at the end of summer. Hedges taller than 3 metres are climbing or platform work outside the per-metre rate — those are quoted separately.
Tip: check for nesting birds before trimming and leave an occupied nest alone until the young have fledged.
